Gabriana, or Gabby as she is known to friends and colleagues, is an adventurous, hardworking and determined California native. She thrives in face-paced work environments that allow her to flex both her creative and analytical mind.
With an appreciation for different perspectives and life experiences, Gabby has taken it upon herself to push outside her comfort zone both personally and professionally. She moved from the SF Bay Area to snowy Syracuse, NY when she was just 17 to attend Syracuse University. With the gift of gab it only made sense she enrolled at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, earning a degree in Public Relations and minors in Marketing & Sociology. One of her most memorable times in college was immersing herself in European culture while studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. In fact, one of her career dreams is to work internationally.
After graduation, she landed in a new city once again, this time Atlanta, GA where she would spend 5 years earning her chops in all things communications including (but not limited to): employee communications, content creation, event planning, social media, executive communications, media relations, brand management, reputation management and digital platform development.
Several career stops along the way gave Gabby exposure to different brands and industries: Inspire Brands (Arby's, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin', Jimmy John's, Sonic, Rusty Taco), Jackson Spalding (Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, L.L.Bean), Safe-Guard Products (Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley) and The Home Depot. And as a natural go-getter, she's held several side-gigs at Barkful (fresh dog food), Ranch House Vineyard and Williams-Sonoma.
Ready for her next adventure, Gabby headed back West to be closer to family, landing in Los Angeles, CA. In her current role, she supports Chick-fil-A new restaurant openings, corporate social responsibility initiatives, field support to the West region and the brand's reputation social channels. She also champions Taco Bell’s franchise org through strategic messaging and thought leadership development.
With both in-house and agency experience under her belt, Gabby can't wait to see what the future holds for her within communications and marketing. On her journey of being a life-long learner, Gabby is fueled by curiosity to embrace challenges and improve herself in all aspects of life.
Some items on Gabby’s bucket list include: hugging a koala, visiting Japan and going off the grid. Oh, and when she’s not working, you can find her running, upcycling furniture or traveling the globe.
